About HEEAP

Read more >>The Higher Engineering Education Alliance Program (HEEAP) brings together government, academia, and industry to modernize Vietnamese public higher education in engineering. The alliance kicked off in 2010 with a USD $5M, three-year commitment from resource partners Intel Vietnam and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), plus implementing partner/mentor institution Arizona State University (ASU). Eight top Vietnamese engineering and technical vocational universities, each committed to reforming higher education, nominate engineering faculty to participate in the HEEAP training. HEEAP’s overarching goal is transforming engineering education from passive, purely theory-based instruction to active, applied and theory-based instruction and learning.
